Community Service Report: Golden Jubilee Celebration and Donation to Nachiketa Tapovan School of Education
“We make a living by what we get, we truly make a life by what we give.”
At HPSR, we believe in the profound impact of value education, which is best imparted through practical application. In line with this belief and as part of our Golden Jubilee celebrations, we organized a Fete that not only brought joy to our community but also served a noble cause.
The funds raised from this event were generously donated to Nachiketa Tapovan School of Education in Mahabubnagar, Telangana. This esteemed NGO is dedicated to providing quality education to tribal students, and we are honored to support their mission.
On December 21st, 2023, we held a heartfelt program to commemorate this occasion. During the event, we had the privilege of presenting Mrs. Vasundhara Reddy, the managing trustee of Nachiketa Tapovan, with various essential items including chairs, daris, an inverter, batteries, and printers. These contributions are aimed at enhancing the learning environment and resources available to the students.
We take pride in this initiative as it exemplifies our commitment to community service and the spirit of giving. . This donation is a testament to our dedication to fostering positive change and supporting education for all.
Staff and students at HPS believe in community service and making the world a better place to live in. Students from class 1 to class10 are sensitized to care for the poor, the needy, and the old. Students are frequently taken to orphanages and old age homes. They donate books, clothes, toys, and food items. Sometimes, they sing and dance for them, bringing smiles on many sad faces.
Our school has been helping AGAPE, an organization that supports the Aids of inflicted children. Our students, along with the Polish students, recently visited orphanages called Hope Home and Don Bosco school. Indeed, these experiences make our children realize how fortunate they are, and that it is their responsibility to be kind and helpful to other children of their age. We look forward to organizing more of such events.
