A lesser known poet of the nineteenth century had said.
For all your days prepare
And meet them ever alike

The Hyderabad Public School,Ramanthapur owes its origin to The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, Hyderabad, which was famously known as the Jagirdar College earlier.Initially it was started only for the Nizam’s children and the rich and the elite nearly a century ago, but subsequently it opened its door for children from all walks of life aspiring to make their mark in the best school of the city. With the rising popularity and demand, the managing committee ventured out to open a sister organization, the founder Principal of which was late Shri T B V Subramaniam. Thus the Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur came into being on 4th August 1972. It is an autonomous organization, holding the distinction of being permanently affiliated to the Central Board of Education (CBSE) New Delhi. The School is also a member of the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC). Ever since the inception of the school,we have trained our students to follow the ethos of a Public School, withstand all life’s tests & become good human beings.
