Classical training in music is imparted at HPS, and it has been observed that students respond favorably to classical training. Music offers a broad creative landscape for students to paint their feelings and emotions. Along with learning songs, playing instruments like Tabla, Veena and Harmonium strengthens the fingers of the students and also improves coordination of the mind and the body.
HPS provides classical music that enriches the psychomotor domain and the cognitive domain. Music taught in school changes the behavior of the students. Students of HPS learn Tabla, Veena, and Harmonium.
The Classical Music teacher also trains the students for National festivals and all other significant school events.
Students gain valuable knowledge through their music classes and become sensitive to the rich tradition and heritage of our nation.
