The assessment structure and examination for classes I to V comprises of two terms (Term I and Term II).

TERM-2 (100 marks)  –    Periodic Assessment (20M)  + Yearly Exam  (80M)

ASSESSMENT OF CO- SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES FOR CLASSES I TO V

For the holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities will be graded term-wise on a 3-point grading scale (A=Outstanding, B=Very Good and C=Fair).

The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork will be the generic criteria for grading in the co-scholastic activities:

The school will conduct three periodic written tests in the entire academic year. The tests will be the pre mid-term, mid-term and the post mid-term with the portion of syllabus cumulatively covered.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

Class IX

  • In order to be declared as having passed the examination, the student has to secure 33% marks out of 20 marks in the internal assessments and 33% marks out of 80 marks in the Final Examination in each subject.
  • 75 % Attendance is compulsory for every quarter.
  • The students must pass in all the subjects to be promoted to class X.

Class XI

  • In order to be declared as having passed the examination, a candidate shall obtain at least 33% marks in all the five subjects of internal examinations.
  • In case of a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical’s separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate in order to qualify in that subject.
  • 75 % attendance is compulsory for every quarter.
  • The students must pass in all the subjects to be promoted to class
